[Varric, who is feverish and annoyed when he discovers the message (some time after the argument) simply stares at the missive for a few minutes before tossing it, summarily, into the Sebastian Vael pile. He then promptly returns to bed.

If there are such things as Spirits of Irritation, he assumes they'll probably start forming any minute and, frankly, he'd rather be sleeping and far away from the Fade when they do.

He will absolutely regret this exchange come morning.]
